About Me

I am a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW) with 9 years of clinical psychotherapy and forensic social work experience. I hold a Masters Degree in Clinical Social Work from Hunter College and have received post-graduate training at the Ackerman Institute as well as various trainings on treating trauma in children and adolescents.

My practice draws from extensive experience working with adolescents and adults in outpatient mental health clinics, family court and college counseling centers. I have worked with a diverse range of individuals, couples, and groups confronting challenges such as traumatic childhood experiences, difficult life transitions, parenting difficulties, post-partum depression, relationship and career challenges, depression and anxiety, bipolar disorder, co-dependency, estrangement from family and community, non-traditional relationships, sexuality and gender identity, and more.

I employ a variety of treatment modalities to fit each individual's needs, including Psychodynamic, Cognitive Behavioral (CBT), Mindfulness-based (MBCT), Relational, Solution Focused (SFBT), and Trauma Focused. Additionally, I have extensive experience conducting group therapy with adolescents, older teens, and young adults.

Those who have worked with me describe me as warm, thoughtful, and approachable.
